Overview

A deeper dive into the night sky at one of the darkest and most scenic stargazing locations near Zion. Includes telescope viewing, constellation storytelling, and s'mores under the stars. For this tour, we meet at the Guacamole Trailhead in the evening, just a little after sunset. You'll have time to get comfy, enjoy some s'mores, and let your eyes adjust to the night sky before our expert guides reintroduce you to the stars above.

What to Expect

Dark-sky location — we meet at the Guacamole Trailhead, one of the darkest and most scenic spots near Zion National Park. On the way there, you'll pass beautiful scenery and enjoy views of West Temple and Mt. Kinesava. Don't fear the dirt road, it's graded and suitable for passenger vehicles.

Guided constellation viewing — your guide will set the pace, allowing you to slow down and lean into awe as you learn more about the stars, our galaxy, and the universe itself.

Telescope time — get up close views of the moon, deep-space objects, star clusters, and more through a professional telescope.

S'mores and a campfire — warm up and wind down with s'mores under the stars.
